Autism Resources of Marshall County, ARMC, has been in existence since 2006 when a group of professionals, class room teachers and family members of children on the spectrum began meeting with the goal of educating the community regarding Autism. In the summer of 2013 Plymouth Chapter No. 49 Royal Arch Masons and ARMC started working together to plan a fundraiser to help further the cause of educating the community and funding a summer camp for children on the spectrum. Our first joint fundraiser, Walk for Autism, was held on the third Saturday of September 2014 resulting in the best fundraiser to that date. November 2014 Autism Resources of Marshall County became a 501(c)3 corporation. In the summer of 2015 we held our first summer day camp for children on the spectrum. We have continued our summer camps since.
Our mission:
ARMC’s mission is to connect individuals and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders with available community resources in Marshall County and surrounding areas. We strive to support quality of life across the lifespan and to build community awareness for the needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
